Probably the most Bizarre Hotel from Europe: Propeller Island City Lodge, Berlin, Germany

It is said that it’s a fine line between creativity and madness and when is more creativity is probably will be something madness. Located in Berlin, Germany, the Propeller Island City Lodge, is one of the most bizarr hotel from Europe or maybe from world.
Propeller Island is fantastic, imaginative masterpiece and will make your whole vacation unforgettable. Every room located in Propeller Island is a work of art – each individual room has been created differently to generate diverse atmospheres through the use of colors, strange distinctive furniture, one-of-a-kind designs, and even unique lighting. Some of the most unusual rooms found at Propeller Island are the Flying Bed; which has slanted floors and a levitating bed, the Mirror Room; a diamond shaped room lined top to bottom with mirrors giving a kaleidoscope kind of effect. Hzzz … What do you think? you could sleep peacefully here? I would like to know your opinion about this strange hotel….

“Propeller Island – this means aesthetic sensation for the eye and the ear. Propeller Island is a pseudonym used by the german artist Lars Stroschen to publish his audio-visual creations. Unlimited diversity, repeating nothing and copying nothing are the guiding principles here.”

Definitely one of City Lodge’s highlights. The diamand-shaped room is completely(!) laid out with mirrors and gives you the impression of living in a kaleidoscope.

A room with a slanted floor which makes grandma’s bed seem to fly.

From top to bottom and all around the bed, everything is upholstered with green leather.

In both coffins you can even slumber beneath closed lids! Exclusively connoisseur room for all those “Nosferatus” who cannot wait for that which awaits us all. Whosoever has second thoughts can creep to the bedplace below, safe within the labyrinth.

The bed is a large disk. The warm, earth-tone walls and ceiling lend the room an incredibly pleasant and meditative atmosphere.

A friendly prison cell with a hole in the wall. The toilet is in the room, just like we know it should be! What’s different: You really WANT to stay here, it’s extremely comfortable. Freedom awaits on the balcony with a parasol.

A tubular room for 3 with consecutively ordered, terraced beds.

In front of an exclusively blue background mirrored sails have been set up around the bed. This room was previously called Mirrors, it was and still remains one of the earliest City Lodge favourites.
