Charming Log Home Near a 155-Acre Lake

ARCD-8913

Produced by Honest Abe Log Homes and built by Larry Bell of Volunteer Log Homes in Henry, Tennessee, the DeSocio’s (Pete and Trish) home is a stunning log home near a beautiful 155-acre lake, perfect for resting. The building is constructed of 6×10-inch, square-profile Eastern white pine logs—known as Honest Abe’s Original Chinked log. An important aspect is the used wood, Eastern white pine logs which have more benefits (highest termical mass values, durable and less prone to warping).
The house has a lovely interior, the master bedroom has plenty large windows, where owners can view the sunrise each morning. The master bathroom features a double jacuzzi encased in a beautiful wood frame designed by builder Larry Bell. A spiral staircase to access the loft is a great way to save space while adding a touch of character to the home. The DeSocios wraparound porch features a covered sitting area with a wood-burning fireplace constructed out of multicolored cultured stones.
