We used a length of pvc gutter can as a feeder and mounted it to the wall. We put bricks underneath because we knew the birds would walk on it. It worked like a charm!

We made it 2 feet long and 8″ wide so the birds could all stand around it and eat out of it at the same time…….except for the occasional hen who feels she needs to stand in it while she eats – it works pretty well for us!
