My dad had one of these in the 1960s. It spent a lot of time in the repair shop, but we had fun when it WAS fixed. His friends carried it up some steps to a concrete porch one night when he was at a meeting in town.

As I mention to my various friends when these get brought up, my dad cut up at least 3 of them back in the 1970s because and I quote “their frames made the BEST motorcycle trailers!”, which depending on the person either brings out a ‘different times’ chuckle – or – that pained expression and flutter of rage that just ran over your face and through your body.

I had one in 1964-????. I had the same problem. I once found it in the high school gym. How they had gotten it in still stumps me. As for speed, since I had the big engine (300cc), I could lay rubber in all 4 gears. I remember one time I did a drag race with a FULLY LOADED cement truck and LOST!!!
