In reply to Allison, a Gardener from London. Deer LOVE to eat the leaves and berries. They will destroy a patch. The strawberries could easily form above the mesh but I would think you would want them to stay contained beneath it. You would have to push them back.

What do you protect your strawberries from with this system? It looks interesting. Do strawberries always fruit over the protective fence?
