I cut the side wall of one blocks to create the opening to the chimney and used that cutout as a door that controlled the airflow into the burn chamber. Uses 1/10 the fuel a traditional fire would and gives great heat control with my makeshift door and puts all the heat where I need it under a single burner. Next…. a Pizza oven!
