Hardware stores have light kits. Or lamp kits. It is usually has an electrical cord with the light socket on the end. Buy cord first, so you know how big to make hole.

Spray woth cooking spray first. String will still conform to round shape without sticking to ball. Use ball for a completely round shape-if that is what you want.
