What a WONDERFUL and monumental task the igloo is! Those children will never forget it. I live in a rural impoverished area of the U.S. so behind the government deemed “illegal” raw milk from local farmer, milk in plastic jugs is all that is available. There are also no recycling centers here either. We literally have hundreds of plastic milk jugs collected in one of our storage sheds. This is FANTASTIC. I can’t wait to make a down-sized scale for my 4 year old.

Helena, the idea is about reusing milk jugs you and others have already bought/used, not going out of your way to horde new milk jugs. Reusing them this way is more environmentally friendly than letting them collect in a landfill or going to a recycling plant that only truly recycles, what, 80% of its intake. As for it not being animal friendly… well, I agree with you there. But if people drink milk from plastic jugs, they might as well reuse the plastic.
