How to Make Perfect Soft, Medium and Hard Boiled Eggs

Boiling eggs can seem like a real scientific process sometimes, as it is very hard to nail the perfect consistency. If you want to become a boiling master, then this handy guide might prove to be useful. You can have the perfectly boiled yolk in just a few minutes, depending on your taste.
If you prefer a softer, creamier yolk, then boil the eggs between 4 to 7 minutes, but if you want a hard-boiled egg, then you should go for 8-9 minutes. The secret to getting the perfect egg is to put them in the water when this is already boiling when you see small bubbles appearing on the surface of the water.
After that, you can set your timer and start counting the minutes. It should usually take around 10 minutes for the water to start boiling, so the perfectly boiled egg should not take more than 20 minutes to make.
After the eggs are ready, remove them from the water using a spoon and place them into a bowl with ice-cold water. This will stop the boiling process and it will be much easier to peel them afterward. Leave the eggs in the cold water for 3 minutes and everything should go smoothly after that.
