Some videographers try to snap the perfect footage their entire lives, and never really manage to capture it. But for this hunter, the perfect video happened by accident, and it might be one of the funniest accidental wildlife films ever made.

It all happened when Dylan Schilt found a lost GoPro in the wild, which was lost by someone on a snowmobile ride.
After founding it, Schilt connected it to a charging station and turned it on, only to find hilarious footage of a bear who was looking right into the camera. The GoPro captured a big black bear, which found the device, managed to turn it on, and film itself while playing with it.

This can truly be named one of the weirdest and most surprising things one can find in a forest and one that Schilt will never forget. You can watch the footage of the bear filming itself with the GoPro and share it with other nature-enthusiasts.

Bears need to relax too, especially after a long and hot summer day. A woman in Virginia spotted a black bear taking a nap in her yard in no other place than her children’s pool.
Regina Keller, who is used to home encounters with wild animals took a picture of the sleeping bear and it quickly became an Internet sensation. Since her home is close by to the George Washington National Forest in Fort Valley, Virginia it is often invaded by visitors from the forest, such as squirrels, deer, foxes, and now a black bear.
But according to Keller, this black bear has been in her yard before in 2018 so she instantly recognized it and knew that it posed no danger. She decided to let him rest in the tiny pool and observed the bear from a chair until her grandchildren came visiting and the sound must have scared him off. She was lucky enough to have her camera by her side and managed to capture this unique moment.

“He wandered around the backyard… and went over by the pool and dipped his big paw in the water… and then climbed right in and laid down. He seemed so content and refreshed.”
She said she had retreated to a chair by the door to her home just to observe him. The bear stayed in the pool relaxing and napping for about an hour before he was chased off by the sound of her grandchildren arriving in her driveway with their dogs.
“It was neat to see and neat that I had my camera with me to capture it,” she said for CNN

Animals can act more human than people in many cases. This surprising but very cute picture was taken by Mandy Stantic, who visited a garbage dump in Northern Manitoba and found a bar casually chilling on a sofa.

Bears are not a rare sight at this garbage dump, as they go there to search for food, this was still a surprising position for a bear. It probably went there to scavenge for food and got tired, so the sofa provided the perfect spot for relaxation.
Mandy found the bear sitting there in a very human position, cross-legged, and waiting for the other bears to finish their work.
The funny thing is that the couch was positioned in a way in which there was even an abandoned TV in front of it, so it looked like the bear was watching tv on the garbage dump. Such a funny story and the pictures taken by Mandy are priceless.

“Whenever somebody would come up with fresh garbage, the bears would all just come running, like a herd of bears to whatever vehicle was there so they could go through it first,” she said.

“Just something different to see. You don’t see it that often.”
