Don’t you just love to recycle old pairs of jeans? The great thing about denim is that it is a very resistant material and it doesn’t get damaged easily with time. So an old pair of jeans can always be a great supply for a DIY project. If you have more than just one pair of jeans, then you can make this great rug, using the patchwork technique. In case you do not own that many old pairs of jeans, just go to a yard sale and purchase some. Don’t worry if the jeans are not the same color, the more colorful the rug will be the better. Start cutting small squares out of each pair of jeans and place them next to each other. Before you start, measure a rug you already have and make this jeans rug the same size. When you have lots of squares, enough to make a rug, sew them together using a sewing machine. Use neutral colored thread. You will also need a large material to use as the back of the rug.
