With spring installing in almost every home (in the appropriate climate of course), gardens are rising from `their ashes` once again. Besides the Phoenix story there are some neat tricks one must do in order to achieve some success, especially in the field of DIY gardening. With this in mind, we thought you might need some tips to help you grow some vegetable in the backyard. Here is a list of the 10 easiest vegetables you can grow at home.

1. When dealing with CARROTS, a rocky soil will result in some ugly and crooked vegetables. Remember it’s not about the aspect of them, but the taste – which still remains great.

2. Planting BEANS is kind of an easy job, but make sure you have trellis at hand, because you will need it if you want to have some of the best grown beans.

3. LETTUCE needs you to do successive sowings every couple of weeks. This is necessary in order to space out the harvest.

4. When the chilly weather hasn’t completely gone, it isn’t advised you plant CUCUMBERS. Wait until all signs of frost is over and work then.

5. When the leaves of SPINACH have reached a decent size, you can pick them and be confident you are encouraging new growth.

6. TOMATOES are easier to grow if you do like most people do and go acquire starter plants from stores or nurseries. It will make your job a lot stress-free.

7. If you want to have RADISHES in your garden, have an early start and plant the seeds directly in early spring or in the fall.

8. PEPPERS are similar to tomatoes, in the way that dealing with starter bell pepper plants is a lot less time-consuming and are also easily available in nurseries.

9. When dealing with SQUASH, make sure they are protect in some manner by the wind, because they don’t like the wind at all and will surely leave your garden empty.

10. The BASIL seeds should be sown directly, in a sunny area, into the garden. Do this in early June while making sure the space is also well-drained. Good luck!
