The complex tree house with multiple floors in the woods https://goodshomedesign.com/complex-tree-house-multiple-floors-woods/ https://goodshomedesign.com/complex-tree-house-multiple-floors-woods/#respond Thu, 26 Oct 2023 20:15:00 +0000 https://goodshomedesign.com/?p=60850

The tree house may originate from the desire to return to the ‘nest residence’.
WH studio has constructed a cluster of treehouse cabins at the hotel district of senbo resort hangzhou in china. nestled in the mountainous landscape, the group of wooden cabins blends in with the surrounding trees. each cluster comprises six cabins that guests can access via an outdoor, zig-zag path that resembles climbing, while exterior terraces at different heights appear like ‘tree branches’ for outdoor activities.

World’s Tallest Tree House https://goodshomedesign.com/worlds-tallest-tree-house/ https://goodshomedesign.com/worlds-tallest-tree-house/#comments Sat, 22 Apr 2017 17:47:22 +0000 http://goodshomedesign.com/?p=40625

The next piece of home design is truly mind-blowing. When you first mention a tree-house to someone, they expect you present a small structure not a four-level high jaw-dropping structure. The awesome tree-house featured here took almost 11 years to complete. Located in Tennessee, US, it is supported by 6 oak trees and a quarter of a million nails were supposedly used to build it. The owner, Horace Burgess, managed to create 3,000 square meters of living space. Even going through all the rooms of the gargantuan tree-house is an adventure in itself. But you won’t get bored in this tree-house quickly. It has an incredible swing, a basketball hoop, and it also features a church bell, weighing almost half a ton! The impressive structure is quite dangerous because there are concerns it can catch very easily on fire, and being so large, it could have disastrous effects. This treehouse is incredible!

Horace, who lived in the 10-story wooden house, said he begun to build in 1993 after he received a vision from God, who said he would never run out of materials if he built it.
The enormous tree house is a whopping 10,000 square feet but only cost Horace $12,000 thanks to his thrifty use of recycled materials.

Hard work: The entire house took more than 268,000 nails to build – and a lot of elbow grease

Tree House Built by Couple for $4000 https://goodshomedesign.com/tree-house-built-by-couple-for-4000/ https://goodshomedesign.com/tree-house-built-by-couple-for-4000/#comments Sat, 20 Dec 2014 00:46:48 +0000 http://goodshomedesign.com/?p=23932 Tree-House-1

Money doesn’t make you happy, a tiny house does. Dave Herrle from Westbrook, Connecticut build his wife an amazing tiny house located in the woods. What a romantic gesture! The couple is trying to have a sustainable way of life, so Dave used recycled materials to build the house, making sure not to leave a permanent and harmful mark on the environment. The cabin’s size is 11×14 feet, it comes with a sleeping loft and a porch and the totals costs were no more than $4000. The tiny house was ready in 6 weeks and the results are stunning, but woods surrounding it bring out the beauty of the cabin too. The heat in the winter is provided by a kerosene heater and there is also a composting toilet. So there is practically everything one can need, plus beautiful scenery worth every dollar.

Even though a tree-house might evoke feelings of playtime and adventure, there are people who actually live, day by day, in such a structure, high up into the trees. The project you see in the photos is an actual livable home in the French Alps. Imagine yourself lounging in a warm place like this after a nice walk in the snowy woods. Maybe you’ve collected some wood for the fire or maybe you foraged or hunted for something to eat, the well-equipped tree-house offers a cozy ambient for you. The interior design is simple but you could change it in order to fit your personality. Designers Patrice and Hugo Bernard made sure the small home in the trees has everything you might want in a regular house. The kitchen has all facilities and the bedroom holds a large bed in which you can easily fall asleep. Take a look over the photos to get a better idea of what it means to actually live in a tree-house.
