Underground greenhouse – advantages
The temperature stays constant and high during winters;
During summers the temperature stays cool and the humidity is way higher;
You can cultivate various plants or fruits all year-round;
The building costs are low and the production is high.
I built an above the ground greenhouse a couple of years ago and kept the temperature below freezing until February. I have been wanting to build an underground greenhouse and this looks simpler than the plans I had. I am encouraged
Has anyone in canada tried this we are in central Alberta?
I live in the Great Smoky Mountains and surrounded by trees can this be done in the side of the mountain.
