As more and more space becomes less accessible to people in big city-centers, like Madrid, Spain, architects are in constant search for design solutions. One smart example comes from the offices of Beriot Bernardini Arquitectos, who managed to squeeze an entire functional apartment into a very small place. This best example of making use of a tiny space to its fullest potential uses specially crafted furniture and plywood to mask entire parts of the house, like the kitchen area.
Suited for one person, the compact loft has a spacious lounging area and all kind of storage units. For example, the stairs to the first floor that includes a bedroom (right above the bathroom and masked kitchen appliances downstairs), doubles as a drawer and wardrobe. This concept of smart storage solution is what makes this design one to last a long time in the future.
