You might consider your home your very own fortress of intimacy. Though there are transparent spaces, like the lobby, the entrance hallways, or living, the private areas, like the bathroom or the bedroom make it into the fortress of solitude that you want. But do they really? What about the extra-private places, that special location in your home where secrets are best kept and uninvited guests are not welcomed? The room where you go to write your autobiography or where you keep your finest collection of drinks. Here are someawesome ideas that you could implement in order to finally get that hidden room you wished for. Kids might even consider such a place the most awesome of rooms in the house, only if it’s decorated in the way a child likes: full of toys. No matter if you want a really private space for reading or for sleeping uninterrupted, the hidden room is definitely a solution.

your site advertised the 15 secret room ideas and there are only four here with no way to continue onto the next eleven. Always more ads than content on here as well. Unlikeing for shoddy work and terrible layout.

    • Cody says:

It looks rather clean to… wait… *looks up* oh, AdBlock says it’s blocked 24 ads on this page… wow. Okay, now I see what people always complain about on this site.

    • CH says:

Did you miss the big arrow marked Next Page between number 8 and the ad?

    • Mary B. says:

You guys didn’t look very well. There are 15 secret rooms shown. Look for the grey arrow that says “next page” & you have to scroll down past the ads. Cool article

    • Andrea says:

I don’t know where you didn’t see all 15 secret rooms because they were all numbered and there are actually 16 secret room ideas. If you read the instructions where it says next and click on the word next it will take you to the next page. Also I don’t like all the ads either but that is what supports these great websites so they can bring us all these great ideas.

  2. C says:

I wanted to see 15 hidden rooms as you said but there is only 4 and a lot of ads????
    Fuck this shit!

    • Marlene jones says:

Hey potty mouth….try the big green next page arrow…… You will find the rest. Now to wash your filthy mouth out with soap

  3. Eddie Keator says:

Pretend you’re looking at a magazine (because reading comprehension was missed) and you have to flip to the next page…. BOOM!

Scroll to the bottom of the page…. click next…. teh smae as a magazine. I bet you don’t feel so snarky now!

  4. Jen says:

Well I got 8 hidden rooms and for all you smarty pants, don’t you think we would hit “next page” if there was one!

  5. Marie says:

    O ONly see 13

  6. King says:

Try another Web browser. Not all are compatible with the newest Web standards.

  7. lyn says:

It’s 15, they forgot to count two/place number next two.

  8. Emily says:

Webmasters, couple of nice hints here….for ‘next page’ add title of article, because this one looks too much like it belongs with an advertisement; ‘King’ says try another Web browser as not all are compatible. You really want your client’s customer to guess and go through all of that trouble????

  9. Sheila says:

At the bottom of the pictures there are large stores that say NEXT. They take you to the rest of them and they are very cool.

  10. jeff horbach says:

    yep 15

  11. sherri says:

I saw all 15. navigate around the ads

  12. Mego says:

    There is no “next page”

  13. Adrean says:

I saw them all and think they are cool. I wish i could do a few of these ideas. Especially in the wall. Under the stairs would be cool if I had young kids

  14. Cynthia Williams says:

Lol. People are so stupid ….

  15. Ghd says:

Lol durr you clearly just couldn’t find the button – I saw all 15 of them easy 🙂 aim that frustration towards yourself lol

  16. Hank says:

    ACTUALLY, there are 16…..

This page starts with #9 but later pix are mis-numbered.

If you came onto this page and want to see the rest, simply change the #2 in the address bar to a “1”
    DUH

and there’s NO NEED TO BE RUDE!!

  17. Jay says:

How shitty is your life if you complain about hidden rooms on a website?

  18. Ana says:

  19. Ana says:

  20. jostyle says:

there are 15 and most of them ,12,i think are just doors turned into bookcases that open into another room or under a staircase , nice but nothing unusual.

  21. Tia says:

There is no “next page” button. I only see 8. Maybe put a hyperlink in your “next page” comment.

    • Tia says:

Amendment: There is a next page button on the full website but if you are on your phone, there is no next page button. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click view full website to find the next page button

  22. Remona says:

There’s this button like thing at the bottom that says NEXT PAGE. Click on it.

  23. kim says:

I don’t know what the problem is, I found them all.

  24. will says:

Add a “1” at the end of the address bar and you can see the rest.

  25. Elizabeth says:

I loved all 15 and I think my favorite was a tie between the hidden staircase room and the red wood book shelf with the hidden room in the middle of it. All though the rock wall was an interesting idea.
    Thank you

  26. Megan says:

I never comment on these but for the record, I saw all 15 and thought some were clever and interesting. Thanks!

  27. sad case says:

ironicly, if someone can’t find the Next Page button to see the other 11 rooms, they won’t do well finding a hidden room in their house either

  28. Sue says:

I had no problem finding 15 hidden rooms. A bit disappointed that most of them are behind book cases.

  29. Steve says:

Actually you will find 16, cause there is no number on the hidden steps that have the young man in the picture.

  30. Jan says:

  34. Dawn says:

I want to see the actual rooms that are hidden. I love these ideas and I would love to see what the rooms themselves look like. Nice ideas though and I will remember them when it comes time to build. Awesome way to keep things out of site and hidden away when you want to not let anyone know what you have.

  35. Roger says:

This article should be renamed “15 Hidden Door Ideas For Your Home.”

We never get to see the actual rooms.

  36. ivy says:

It says 15 rooms and all he comments say there is a next button well every time I try to go to the page it starts at #9 there is no way to go back and look at the others. So frustrating.
