    Hi there! I’m writting you because currently i’m working on the same project.
    I could not sew it using the machine because my ikea one seems to be too little, and there is not space enough under the needle and the pedal to slide the whole cloth.
    Therefore i’m stiching it up manually (i think it will take me ages to get finished)
    Here comes the problem. The result is not flat. My rug is kind of bulky. Sorry i can not explain it really good. Looks like while sewing some parts of the cloth are more tigh than others and the rug became like a bowl…
    Did someone else have this issue?
    Do you think it will became flat once i put it on the floor and we step on it?
    Please advise!
