DIY Glittered Pumpkins


As there are lots and lots of Halloween decoration tutorials on the web this month, you have plenty of option from where to choose. You can find a wide variety of ideas, from traditional to cool and even fancy ones, like this next tutorial. If you like glitter and shiny, stylish things, you will love these glitter covered pumpkins. Yes, this idea is quite of the box, but you will surely have the most unique decorations ever. You will need to spray a layer of glue or mod podge on a smaller pumpkin to make sure the glitter will stick. After that cover your working space with newspaper in order to prevent covering everything in glitter. Add the glitter to the pumpkin. Here you can use your imagination, add create a pattern, or a pumpkin with more than just one color of glitter. The options are infinite. Once the glitter was applied, let everything dry for a while and then shake a bit to remove any excess glitter. Make more than just one pumpkin and place them on your porch on Halloween night.


Medium-size paint brush
White glue / spray adhesive
Small pumpkin
Paper plate or a sheet of newspaper
Brown acrylic paint
