Have you tried using a steel stainless box instead of wood to increase the production of distilled water?
Did you test the water 4 any chemical impurities? bc salt water is often polluted and distillation is not enough, you would need reverse osmosis to get rid of chemicals like fluoride.
You might want to study what water distillation is. Glass distillation of water has the highest purification rate. Even better than RO–I have never found an RO system that can remove greater than 98% of contaminates including RO–of course you can buy the extra filter but then it only moves the percentages up to 99%.
Solar distillers are great. If you can take a good use of solar energy, we can do our best to protect our environment.
