DIY Vintage Egg Ornament

Vintage-Egg-Ornament

Although egg decorations are more common at Easter, that doesn’t mean you can make nice egg decorations for your Christmas tree. It may seem a bit odd at a first look, but once you will decorate the eggs and put them on your tree you will see how nice they look. To make these vintage egg ornaments you will need: eggs, tacky glue, glitter, fake snow, acrylic paint, scissors, a brush, hot glue gun, Mod Podge and some more. Use a knife to cut holes in the egg and empty the content. Wash it a bit and when dry paint the outside with the color of your choice. Paint the inside too. You can adjust the hole a little bit and then you can decorate the outside. Cover the outside with glue and sprinkle glitter on it. Use a bead cap and a thread to make the hanging system and fix it on the egg with the help of a glue gun. Place a small Styrofoam ball in the egg and create the inside decoration. That is all you will have a beautiful and unique decoration for your tree.
