Large Kitchen Window

Choosing the best kitchen window for your house can make a huge difference in appeal, convenience and space. What we have here is an example of the large window design-build by the Archia firm, that offers both architectural design and/or full construction services for residential properties. This kitchen is part of a renovation-restoration project to an 1860′s farmhouse in Dover Massachusetts. How does it look ? Would you like a large window or a window like this in your kitchen?

I have 6 widows left to replace in my home,3 of which will be in my kitchen/pantry. I am look/pick based on winter weather in Ohio. More glass = colder room = higher heating bills!

  • They are beautiful. I love the cooking outdoors feeling. I would have to have a kitchen large enough to give up the upper cabinet storage the windows take up. And my decision would be based on the frigid weather conditions these windows would be up against in the Illinois/Wisconsin area. But I would love to have these in my kitchen!

For five years I have been looking at this window ( third picture) , however today I got the full few, thanks alot.
I have always wanted to have this kitchen window in my own home and since am looking to build soon, I would like to know how I can pull this off. I live in the tropics so no rough weather worries. Thanks
