Log cabin and modern are not two opposite words. Even though you might thing these could not be put together to create something beautiful, this Montana example shows that architecture has a solution and it works great. The contemporary interior design of this cabin is combined with some hand-crafted wooden pieces of furniture. The rustic theme which used 10 inches wide logs in many areas is underlined with some vintage light fixtures. The generous porch was a must if the Orvis `Minocqua` design would have been followed to the letter. People from Rocky Mountain Log Homes, in collaboration with Marylee R. Syme, have tried to make a durable 2 bedroom structure and fill it with true colors and outstanding beautiful interiors. Check out the pictures and building plans to get a better image of what we have described in the previous lines. And definitely take them into consideration when planning to build your modern log cabin.
