The next step was to hand carve the vertical moulding pieces. This took hours, but I like the final look!
At this point, I added a custom dutch door I made from scratch. I made a pattern for the glass and had it made at a glass shop from tempered glass.
You can also see the top has been painted with white roofing sealer. On top of the tongue and groove wood, i covered it with a single piece of rubber roofing, then added the painted canvas as the final cover. It holds out water pretty good!
The next step is to find a micro wood burning stove to install.
