I work for a Hyundai dealership and order bulk trans fluid, it comes in 55 gal drums that the mfr does not want back. I used to put them on craigslist for scrap metal but after seeing this, I will be using them. Awesome ideas!
Wow, there are some awesome ideas out there, I would furnish a home with drums, love them.
I want something to water the vege garden when I’m not there. Thought these might be useful as sort of drip feeders – you run a hose out of a hole in the drum, fill them up with water and, um! Well, worth a try.
Rose: Just make sure the barrels never contained anything toxic in them before using them. You might be better off using food grade plastic barrels
I have 55 gal. Barrels on a weekly basis. Call your local spray foam insulation company.

Love these ideas. But please only barrels that did not have toxic chemicals in them.
