The UK mobile services company Orange in association with the American product design firm Kaleidoscope designed the Orange Solar Concept Tent; a high-tech tent that harnesses solar energy to charge your gadgetry through a wireless charging pouch. This tent will allow campers to keep in touch and power their essential gadgets such as GPS or mobile phones.
The solar-powered futuristic tent captures the rays of the sun via “photovoltaic fabric” – specially coated solar threads woven into conventional fabric. The Solar Concept Tent uses this revolutionary new technology to full effect with three adjustable glides, which can be rotated throughout the day to follow the sun and capture the most sunlight. Not only that, the tent has a wireless control hub to provide Wi-Fi, wireless charging, and a touchscreen LCD display that keeps track of the energy generated and consumed

It’s a concept tent – which means just that, a concept. This is not an available product but an idea that hopefully will inspire someone to create it for consumption. You know, like concept cars?
It’s probably a concept tent because the person who sketched the original design is still alive and kicking, and wants some kind of compensation. Knowing them they probably changed Brands, and are selling various types of tents instead of helping the mastermind out. Go figure.
A wow concept
Actually it is I who planned out the original rough design of this tent. Later on the individual who took my paper seemed to have improved it since with a group, it seems. It appears they’re attempting to delay sales or something akin to that.

I’d definitely like to know when/if this design goes beyond the ‘concept’ phase and into production. I know MANY homeless Veterans
who (although deserve much better) would be greatful for someplace like this that they could call their own
