How do you get the colored planters? Your instructions don’t mention that. Are those photos from another website that you didn’t link to? I’m wondering if they were spray painted or was there a color added to the concrete? If so, what?
The Planters must be painted with regular paint. Spray paint won’t leave that much color as it soaks into the cement. They are really fun to make and watch dry out and then figure out what kind of flowers or herbs will work in them. You can make any shape any size you just have to be patient and let the cement dry at least for 48 hours before trying to move them or turn them over. I would paint them while they are upside down so they have something to keep the shape. Good luck and enjoy the DIY
can the bucket be reused or does it have to stay inside of the finished vessel?
