With the first use of Vacuum Insulated Panels (VIPs) in a tiny house (with a claimed value of R30 per 1/2″), this goal of this tiny house was to be lightweight but also able to handle the -50C weather in the Yukon.
This major improvement prevents energy loss from heat transfer in house-hold and other appliances.
The tiny house included quad pane windows, and a compact HRV called the Lunos e2.
