At Casas Karen you can find beautiful Hut Rooms for rent, large enough for 2-4 persons. The houses were built in a style typical for the Spanish region where they can be found and are mostly made of straw and wood. The traditional structure was preserved, but the owners remodeled the houses and added more windows to create a modern and well lit interior. The Big Hut house was designed for a group of friends or a large family. It has a spacious living room, dining room with natural limestone floor, carpets, antique dressers and a large dining table. Under the loft there are two large sofas (which can be used as single beds), two armchairs and the staircase leading to the platform where you will find the sleeping area. Next to the dining room you will find a rustic kitchen and a unique blue bathroom. There are multiple windows in this hut, meaning that light enters all day. Built on a property of 500m₂, there is also a private garden with a picnic table outside. Although wonderfully cool in summer, some people need electric heaters in winter, despite which many guests return year after year to enjoy this magical and special place.
Reminds me a bit of what I would picture the inside of a medieval house to have looked like, except without the dirt floor!
