These brioche with Nutella are a true delight, they are soft and low fat and you can eat them with Nutella or simply with a piece of chocolate. For 12 pieces you will need: 20g flour, 1 package of instant yeast backing, 80ml of warm milk. For pulp: 300g of flour, 40g icing sugar, teaspoon salt, 2 large eggs, 80g soft butter. Other ingredients: 12 teaspoons of Nutella, 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon milk. It is very easy to make and it will only take you 30 minutes.
Steps: prepare the yeast, mix the yeast, flour, milk, cover and let stand 15 minutes. Meanwhile prepare the dough. In a bowl, mix the flour with the salt and sugar. Add butter, egg and mix until you obtain a firm, smooth dough. Knead a dozen minutes. Then add the yeast and continue to knead for 5 minutes. Put the dough in a clean bowl, cover and let it rise until it doubles its volume. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm so to obtain a circle. Using a cutting wheel, cut 12 triangles and put a teaspoon of nutella on the base of each triangle . Start to roll the dough base until the end. Then transfer them to a plate covered with baking paper. Allow them time to double their volume again. During that, mix the egg yolk with the tablespoon of milk and brush the surface of your croissant with the egg-milk mixture. Cook them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
This sounds yummy, but is the oven temp really as low as 180 degrees? (I’m in the US)
Thanks

🙂
Bardur, you can use half package (25 gr) of yeast
By rise do you mean, put it in the fridge for a while or will it be okay to just leave it out?
hello as far as pastry goes to rise it needs heat *wrap in warm blanket and leave near a warm area for at least 1 hour till it doubles in size showing bubbles:)
La hice con la tapa de pascualina redonda comprada y me salieron muy buenas
would be nice if you did this up with US measurements like cups, teaspoon, tablespoons for measurements instead of grams, please and thank you

look them up-can you say “Google”?
well said Angie !!!
Why? the US isnt the only country on the planet and the rest of us use proper SI measurements rather than ‘cups’. the gram and ml are exact measurements whereas cups, teaspoons and tablespoons are not
Darlene, Grow up and learn metric!
It’s not a matter of learning metric. You just don’t find metric measuring tools (scales, spoons, cups) in the U.S. At least, they are not common or /easy to find. We can, however, find conversion charts/instructions online. 🙂
Isn’t it one of the individual sachets of yeast, usually around 7g or about a teaspoon?
Interesting blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog jump out. Please let me know where you got your theme. Appreciate it
i just don’t understand why people complain so much about this being in metric, most of the world uses it. If you don’t know it take the time you used to type the complaint and look up how to convert it, this way you have it in the future and you don’t sound like such a lazy person.
Buon giorno, il lievito,di birra o quello per dolci?grazie
In my view prohibition of alcohol is regressive however it’s necessary to make awareness among individuals regarding the evils of alcohol.
