Don’t you just hate it when all that it’s left of your favorite pencils are some tiny stubs? You really can’t do anything useful with them, right? Wrong! Instead of throwing out those seemingly useless pencil stubs, some inventive MIT students created the perfect pencils that can produce food. They created the Sprout Pencil out of biodegradable materials and with an eraser that is actually a cup of seeds. So when your pencil becomes very small and you can’t properly right with it, you can just stick it into a pot and start growing some fresh herbs. Each Sprout Pencil is labeled so you’ll know what you are planting in your pots.
The Sprout Pencil is the first plantable sustainable pencil in the world.
The joy of planting a seed has no age. Little My from Denmark is 3,5 years old, and is planting her first Sprout pencil. She loves the idea of making a seed into a beautiful flower. Watch the adorable video below…

Note your misspelling of the word “write” in the sentence beginning “So when your pencil becomes very small…”
Just thought you might want to correct it.
Great concept!
