Since the new Star Wars series called The Mandalorian came out, Baby Yoda has been a fan favorite, and kids all over the world fell in love with him.
Now Star Wars-themed toys and Baby Yoda dolls are selling faster than any other item and people don’t seem to be getting enough of the franchise.
Some crafty fans even starting making handmade toys after seeing the series and Allison Hoffman is one of them.
She is a well-known crochet artist in the craft community and after seeing The Mandalorian she instantly knew that her next project should be a crocheted Baby Yoda.
The doll she made is adorable and looks exactly like Baby Yoda would look in real life, and it took her 10 hours to crochet the 12” tall doll.
The pattern is also available for the public and can be purchased from her website. Of course, if you are new to this craft, you can always start with some much simpler tutorials that you can find on Youtube as it took Allison 12 years to master the art of crocheting.
She is a self-taught artist and started to make her first patterns in 2007 after following a series of online tutorials. Visit her website to explore her work and buy the available patterns to start your crochet project.
Do It Yourself
