Summers bring lush ferns and other greenery – a stark contrast to the white sandy beach and thrillingly blue waters of the Lake Michigan shoreline. Autumn is Josie Mossburg’s favorite time of the year. Its unmatched calico of colors, warm days, cool nights, and a promise of winter festivals and a spring certain to come, is embedded in the earth and air. And winter, finally winter, with its solitude and silent beauty – its warm and welcoming glow in the freezing night sky.
