Cities across the country are embracing innovative environmental initiatives by repurposing Christmas trees to support marine life and enhance shorelines. The Friendswood Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, has spearheaded a fish habitat program using recycled Christmas trees.
