I think most of you out there are fascinating by unusual ideas when it comes to interior design. And when those ideas become practical, the interest grows. Unusual rugs are not something many of us have encountered in people’s home. However, have you ever wished to see one or walk on one in your own home? These creative rugs make you think about the ground you’ll walk on in the future. It is easy to be creative, but when you transmit your creativity to your home it makes you appreciate it even more. So here are some unusual rugs.
This bathroom mat starts with an imputrescible foam called plastazote. Several types of moss are implanted in the cells of foam (a total of 70 pieces measuring 2.4 in. each) and live happily there as long as you shower often enough to get keep it moist while you towel off. Its designer, Nguyen La Chanh, from Switzerland, says the mat is very relaxing and needs little care. She says: “The idea was to find a new way of having your plants inside.”
