Not everyone has enough space in their home to create a guest room, but this doesn’t mean you should give up on this idea. Take example from this very creative person, who transformed his office into a guest room by building a trundle bed. The cool thing is that the room he managed to create is a combination of a guest room and an office, so he still has both rooms, but uses them alternately. A trundle bed helps you save a lot of space as you can hide them any time and make it look like a drawer or a storage unit. To create such a bed by yourself can be a hard task, but a professional can easily make one for you. These pull out beds are a really cool and modern way to save some space in your home, so you can practically create them in any room, but this combination of office and guest room is truly awesome. How tall are the ceilings? With standard 8ft walls, this set up looks like it would end up being a head-banger for anyone over about 5’4″.
Not to mention rather hot since heat rises!
The only thing I would have you do differently would have been to make the section next to the bed a drawer to hold the pillows and blankets (leaving the closet for office items only.

Poor desk placement. Needs to be turned around so people can’t see what’s on your monitor when they look into the room.
…And also not to fall backside from the chair !!! seriously I’m in pain just looking at this 🙂

A Murphy bed would be way easier andcheaper then use a regular desk….
I suggest having the mattress wrapped with a very good quality cover. Bugs, moisture, etc.
