The trick to living comfortably in a small house or apartment is using the space to your best advantage. That means looking for architectural opportunities to seize and important design decisions to make. Today, we would like to present you a creative solution for space-saving and also improving the interior design of any bedroom. The DIY project shown here is perfect for a room shared by brothers or sisters. Instead of arranging the beds in opposite directions or in a dividing-the-room way, significantly improve the design by placing a twin corned bed with storage capabilities built in. Here is what you need to do. Grab the following items:
• a 1 by 2 8 inches Length wood;
• two 1 by 12 10 inches Length wood;
• a 2 by 2 8 inches Length wood;
• a quarter inch plywood for the backs;
• three quarter inch MDF for the Top and Face;
• 120 grit sandpaper;
• a primer;
• two inch nails or screws;
• one and a quarter inch screws;
• one and a quarter inch nails;
• wood glue and wood filler;
• some wood conditioner;
• paint and paint brush;
• a measuring tape;
• a square;
• a pencil;
• a pair of safety glasses and hearing protection;
• a drill;
• circular saw and compound miter saw;
• a nail gun;
• a sander;
• a level;
The blueprints are very important for this project and quite easy to follow. All details are in the link below…
