I can’t understand how anyone would need plans to build this. It’s not like the pallets are different shapes and sizes. Personally if I had to pay for the cement to pour a foundation I would spend the money on materials and build it the right way.
Actually pallets DO come in different sizes. The wood is tough and pallets are nearly indestructable. Go waste your $$$ on cheap pine that is already rotting when you buy it.

The point is that this is a way to recycle this wood instead of throwing it out. And having used pallets to build a small shed with myself, the pallets provide strength and stability that just plain 2 x 4’s do not. And it’s easier to blow insulation into the spaces if you want an insulated shed.

Just do the math. It take 44 palets for this shed. And maybe 30– 2×4’s . 26 ply board and insulation 8 rolls of the pink stuff, a door and maybe 2 to 4 windows. And hardware
I sure would like to have one. But don’t know where I could get enough pallets or the plan. Very useful.

No, all pallets are not the same size at all. There are standard size pallets, but those can be hard to find because companies will sell them back to the distributor or to pallet dealers

on the question on how the pallets are connected I would use 3 in wood screw , the side wall connection should be bolted for strength st least 3 per pallet and strap from side to side. you will be surprised how strong the wall will be. great for drying plants, tobacco barns still dot the countryside all over were I live that look similar, old corn bin.. good place for rabbit cages pig barn. Great way to recycle, easy way to construct.

Actually would pallets come in a large variety of sizes and if they are the same size in outside dimensions the boards can have different thicknesses and formats. So it does matter….if you want it square and plumb. Which helps create a strong, stable long term build. Please know you facts before making statements from an uninformed perspective.

I built one similar on 4×6 pressure treated skids. used 2-4×8 1 1/8″ pieces of plywood for the floor and built a little 8×8 shed. The front wall was 8′ tall, back was 7′ and just made a slant roof. Has a 36″ wide opening in front. Covered it with 3/8″ ruff sawn shop siding.

Yes pallets do have different sizes. As a truck driver we deal with pallets alot.

Don’t throw pallets away. The lumber in them is very good for any one with patience to break them down and has the right tools to work them. Even fine furniture can be built from them.

While I love the concept, you leave a thought that you’re going to give tips on DIY when in fact you want to sell pallet kits. I personally feel this is misleading.
I think this is a great idea. We get pallets weekly. My homeschooled child ( high school) is doing this for a project.

i too don’t like the idea of a proffered free pallet shed, and then its a safe item. just be open and honest, you might do much better. most anyone could build this in a day

I would stand them vertically and stagger the joints, you can then insert a 2×4 from evolve every 24” to tie them together..
