Well done! Could we see pics of the bathroom, and the presumably clothes/storage space at the other end? And the utility access?

When I was forced to retire, I could still pay my rent of $1400/ month managed to keep a few side jobs. Had to give up my cell phone, only line of communication. Homeless or phoneless. Things where I had worked for three generations, changed. Had to move to California, where I have relatives. Though from the time I was twelve I worked so our family could buu a home. Never seen any of my money. Now I come home to the house I helped pay for, and am not welcomed. Trying not to be on the streets. Years back I helped my sister when she needed help. Took her in had a huge bedroom own shower etc. Now I am stuck small bedroom pay and told to move out.

Sorry to hear Arturo. Stay positive, be the best you that you can be each day and good things will happen. There are options. Look for a room mate situation. There is clist or some other options. Sometimes strangers are kinder then family. I wish and pray for the best for you in your retirement years. Good luck and god bless.

Block solar heat from loading on containers by simply painting with Sunshield. Sunshield is available at homedepot.com and shop.spcinfo.com Follow us and like our facebook page @Superior Products Coatings Systems. Sunshield is part of a technology platform. One lower end Sunshield is designed to block solar heat and on he higher end our HPC coating is designed to be spray applied on hot surfaces up to 1200 F. This is the real insulation coating. More than a mere reflective coating. Try on a small project and see the performance for yourself. Sunshield will block 95% of the solar heat load, leaving the surface at an ambient temperature that is physically cool to the touch, regardless of how hot it is outside. This is more than a reflective coating!

    1. Can this container maintain a warm home in Montana? Is it well insulated? Is the ac or heat pump? How long does it take to make one? Do you have to order a year in advance ?? What would the cost be to move it to a permanent location ..

    • Al Malave says:

      Audrey, good question.
See Greg Allen comment above. But I will add, I always thought it would be great if there was a way to cover sun-exposed surfaces with a Venician blind type of cover that would switch from black in the winter to absorb heat and reflective in the summer. Patent pending 🙂

What is the usable sq footage and who does buildouts?

  11. Rhonda says:

If you type Backcountry Containers, Houston Tx in your browser, it comes up with 3 videos that show how they build these and walk through them.
