Here is a lovely furniture for your quadruped friend. If you have pets (cats/dogs) and an old desk, you have the perfect combination for a new pets station. Here is an idea of turning an old desk into a pet station for cats and dogs. Cat food bowl on top (out of reach of the dog), cat bed, drawer for holding leashes, shampoos, brushes, etc., and on the bottom, a shared water bowl and dog food bowl. This is the worst “tutorial” I’ve ever “read.”

Oo I have an idea. I don’t know how it would work but let’s think about it….
What if the middle drawer front was disassembled and the front attached to the front of the desk and the bottom drawer left intact. A hole cut in the side and a pillow placed in the bottom drawer. My cat loved dark enclosed places at times. You could open the drawer to take the pillow out for laundering. I plan to do this project as soon as I finish grieving the loss of my cat. He succumbed to cancer. Thank you for sharing this excellent idea. It would keep the dog out of the cat food:):):)

If you only have cat(s), a drop-in litter box instead of lower dishes might work. A flat panel curtain on a suspension rod could disguise the lower half, and still allow easy access.

I just read your idea on the cat bed hidden in the drawer, neat idea, did you ever make one and did it work like you thought?
