Here’s what I want to know.. when you build up, you create a shadow on the things behind it. Same problem with a vertical unit that’s built in the round. The stuff growing in the back isn’t getting the same level of sun. How much does this shade affect the crop growth?

I’ve tried the gutters and other things on a wall. Plan to water a whole lot, the heat builds up and soil dries out. A timer on the water was the only thing that worked for me.
