Space is highly valued, especially if you live in a downtown area. And every architect or designer knows that home-owners will go to many lengths to save some space. Sure, there are lots of solutions out there for merging utility with comfort, like the desk-bed. But not many minds have thought of using the ceiling as a useful medium for saving space. Of course, we can’t use it like bats, but nonetheless, one can make use of a huge bed (the BedUp) lowering from the ceiling right in the middle of the living room. During the day, you only need room for lounging or a quick nap, right? And what other fast way to „hide” your bed away only to reemerge at night.
