Are you planning to go off the grid and build your cabin in the woods? If the answer is yes, then you’ll find this video tutorial very useful.
You’ll learn from Mike Pullen how to build an off-the-grid cabin using recycled pallet wood and saving a lot of money at the same time.
The great advantage of pallet wood is its lightweight so you can carry it easily to your chosen spot. The cabin that you’re going to learn how to build is tiny, but it will be made using your bare hands and keeping things on a low budget. As you’ll see in the video, the cabin will have a bed, folding table bookshelf and a chair and an additional wood stove.
Mike also installed a pipe cooking oven and a water tank so they can live there as comfortable as possible. The stove is perfect for winter as it can heat the tiny cabin quickly. In case you’re wondering how the roof of the house was made, it is out of recycled tin that was originally the roof of an old barn. Once the structure of the tiny house is done, you can proceed to build the furniture from the same pallet wood used to build the cabin. To learn more about this project, watch the video presenting the story of the cabin and let it inspire you to start your tiny house project.
