Easy Way to Build a Treehouse

DIY-Treehouse

A tree-house doesn’t need to be complex in order to put a smile on a kid’s face. The project you see in the pictures is so simple that we encourage all of you who have a medium tall tree in your backyard to go for it! Here are a few tips to bear in mind, especially if you don’t want a fancy, fairy-tale like tree-house, but a more realistic and simple model. The height of your built shouldn’t be taller than your neck; that’s because your kid doesn’t need to be way up in the tree to experience `living in a tree`. Use branches as the ladder or stairs up to your house. Round branch segments are used because they are much softer for the feet than wooden planks. The house itself is actually a deck made from large planks and assembled together with screws. Some might say this would sooner be a tree-deck, rather than a tree-house. Either way you want to call it, the effect is the same: children will have fun and their imagination is stimulated. With the help of a few rugs, blankets and pillows, the nesting could begin. Add a book and a radio and your kid could enjoy their summer afternoons up there.
