I don’t see the step-by-step tutorial you mention; was hoping it would explain what the Teflon tape is for. I think I understand the coupling’s purpose, just not sure about the Teflon tape.
The tape would likely be to wrap around the glass bottle in the area where the copper coupling attaches to the bottle’s neck.
I think the Teflon tape goes around the bottle neck before you put on the copper coupler

i would guess the teflon is to wrap around the neck of the bottle to reduce contact with the bracket
Tutorial:
1. Drink wine in bottle
2. Pour torch oil into empty wine bottle
3. Put wick into oil
4. Light on fire
5. Repeat 1-4 each time you want a new torch
6. Gain some common sense and stop requiring Simone to home your hand
Well, erm, if you say that there is going to be a tutorial and you don’t put one – including for instance, the very important detail of what you put in the bottle whether it be white spirit, oil or lighter fuel – then you aren’t doing what you said you would do at the top of the page.
