How could one adapt this to an in-house wood-burning stove to an in-house hot water tank?Obviously one would not expect to continuously heat the water, more of a plan-ahead-on-demand system. I have an 8 x 36 tiny home.

  2. Roger says:

So rubbish. My friend has boiler and it burn wood and directly heat the water.

  3. Andy says:

…and just imagine how much greenhouse gases you produce by using this technique! Nice idea, but fails to protect the environment!

  4. Tim says:

In most cities you cannot burn any wood not purchased for burning. No yard twigs or branches or lumber scraps.

Um, BS. Here in MA you can burn – inside – any untreated (unpainted, un-preserved, etc) wood. I’m pretty sure all NE states, except maybe CT (they’re really NYers) it’s the same.

How do you get the water to the pipes in the house in order to use the water?

  6. Joe says:

It’s ok. Judging by most of the kids I’ve met who are worried about greenhouse gases, they couldn’t start a fire anyway. Go charge ur phone.
