How could one adapt this to an in-house wood-burning stove to an in-house hot water tank?Obviously one would not expect to continuously heat the water, more of a plan-ahead-on-demand system. I have an 8 x 36 tiny home.
So rubbish. My friend has boiler and it burn wood and directly heat the water.

Um, BS. Here in MA you can burn – inside – any untreated (unpainted, un-preserved, etc) wood. I’m pretty sure all NE states, except maybe CT (they’re really NYers) it’s the same.
How do you get the water to the pipes in the house in order to use the water?
It’s ok. Judging by most of the kids I’ve met who are worried about greenhouse gases, they couldn’t start a fire anyway. Go charge ur phone.
