Looks good and all. My question is what is the black plastic for? If you lay the black plastic down on the ground then it covers up your garden. Unless you use it as a cold frame.

looks like a permaculture of some kind. To ken ground warmer through cold months. I believe you would plant through it like a weed barrier.
