Instead of spending maybe hundreds of dollars on fancy playhouses at the toy store, we suggest you invest in a naturally cob version! The costs involved will go no more than $30 and all steps will have almost no impact on the environment. That’s because the cob method means using hand formed clumps of earth mixed with straw and sand to make the actual structure. The DIY project you see also used scrap wood so the costs were kept at a minimum. The whole process of cobbing and making the actual finished playhouse took about 2 months, this way everything had time to dry, settle, and harden.
