DIY-Plastic-Bottle-Seed-Starter-Pots

Growing your own plants is getting easier with each passing day. People find creative ways and creative things to aid them in small scale gardening and turn this activity into a common practice among people. And the neat stuff about it is that you can recycle materials and help the environment in another way than planting. Even the laziest of people can be part of this gardening movement because the simple device we’re showcasing here is self-watering! The trick is to first water the soil from the top side of the clever device. This way, the soil is uniformly wet and the important string also gets wet. If you’ve done this part right, your DIY plastic bottle self-watering seed starter pots will work properly and you can start your `career` as an environmentally-friendly gardener.

You’ll need:
– 2 liter bottles,
potting soil,
seeds,
– thick string or yarn
– a screwdriver
– hammer
– cutter

How can I get the PDF on this subject..WITHOUT, being REQUIRED to also download something I do not want;like a new toolbar…I don’t like ASK, (see the download link on the seed starting article).

easy…if you’re using Google Chrome Browser just use the mouse to select/mark any contents you want on this article, do a right-click and select “Print”, in the “Print” option under “Destination, select “Save as PDF” and click “Save”…

or, if you have a Mirosoft office version 2007 and above, just copy+paste the contents you wanted, and paste plus re-arrange it in the Microsoft office Words or powerpoint, then do a “Save as” “PDF”…

Google “self water soda bottle” and go to a website that isn’t such a pos.

Heres a link to a different an I think better version. They use a scrap of old t-shirt as the “wick” Seems like it would do a much better job than a string.

Why is it when I try to post anything to Pinterest from this website, Pinterest tells me
“Sorry! We blocked this link because it may lead to spam.” yet the Pin button shows 100 pins. Help!

It’s great idea indeed! I tried it this spring and these seed starters work sooo good. Even now we have seeds planted in, because my daughter insists to watch the seeds’ growing process. She’s so fascinated by everything that happens inside her little garden. Greets!

Don’t even know what to click on this pos site. More advertising than useful content.
