Ri-disc-ulous! These are strange times, full of uncertainty but without humor on our side, they would surely be even more terrifying. Italy is one of the most affected countries by the COVID-19 crisis and things are getting worse by day there. But people still manage to find humor in everyday life and find ways to keep themselves and others entertained.
An Italian man took social distancing to a whole new level and strolled the streets of Rome with a huge disc attached to himself. He visited a local market with the disc attached to himself and social media went crazy after a few pictures of him were shared on Twitter. Social distancing is among the measures recommended by WHO to contain the spread of the virus and it involves keeping a distance of at least 1 meter (3 feet) between yourself and others or anyone who is suspected to be sick. The measures also include staying at home and only going outside if shopping for groceries, medicine or work that requires your physical presence.
The Italian man from the news story interpreted social distancing in an extreme way and got a lot of attention from the online community.
